1. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Food Sober Fundamentals Group Program (“the Program”) is a 10-week psychoeducational course delivered online through live sessions via Zoom and supporting materials hosted in New Zenler. The Program is facilitated by Vanessa Kredler, PACFA Reg.Clinical 31042 trading as Vanessa Kredler (ABN 46 114 522 367).
2. NATURE OF SERVICE
2.1 The Program is strictly educational in nature and does not constitute psychological therapy, medical treatment, or clinical intervention.
2.2 The Program involves group education about food addiction, recovery strategies, and wellbeing.
2.3 No therapeutic relationship is established between participants and the facilitator through participation in this Program.
2.4 The Program is not a substitute for professional medical care, psychological treatment, or psychiatric intervention.
3. PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
3.2 All participants must complete a pre-enrolment process to determine suitability for the Program.
3.3 The facilitator reserves the right to decline enrolment at their discretion.
3.4 Participants are responsible for obtaining medical clearance from their treating healthcare providers before making changes based on program content.
4. MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH DISCLAIMER
4.1 Participants acknowledge that the Program is not a replacement for existing medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
4.2 Participants are strongly advised to maintain regular contact with their healthcare providers throughout the Program.
4.3 The facilitator assumes no responsibility for any adverse medical or psychological outcomes arising from participation.
5. REFERRALS TO EXTERNAL PROFESSIONALS
5.1 The facilitator may, at their discretion, provide referrals to food addiction–informed professionals such as general practitioners, dietitians, or other allied health providers.
5.2 Participants acknowledge that engaging with any external professional is a separate arrangement between themselves and that provider, and may incur additional fees payable directly to the professional.
5.3 The facilitator receives no commission, financial benefit, or other advantage from such referrals.
5.4 The facilitator is not responsible or liable for the advice, recommendations, services, or outcomes provided by any external professional.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Vanessa Kredler disclaims liability for any damages arising from participation.
6.2 Participants acknowledge that they join the Program at their own risk.
7. PAYMENT TERMS
7.1 Program fee: AUD $1,100
7.2 Payment must be made in full prior to commencement.
7.3 Enrolment is not confirmed until full payment is received.
8. REFUND POLICY
8.1 Cancellations received 30 days or more in advance of the Program will be refunded in full. Cancellations made with less than 30 days’ notice cannot be refunded, as places are limited and there is insufficient time to offer the place to someone else.
8.2 If a participant is deemed unsuitable during pre-enrolment, a full refund will be provided.
8.3 If a participant voluntarily withdraws after enrolment, no refund will be provided.
8.4 Except as required by law, all sales are final.
9. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
9.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they have reliable internet and appropriate technology to access sessions.
9.2 No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions due to technical issues on the participant’s end.
10. PROGRAM MATERIALS AND ACCESS
10.1 Course materials will be delivered via New Zenler and live sessions conducted on Zoom.
10.2 Downloadable materials are for personal use only and remain the intellectual property of Vanessa Kredler. 10.3 Course materials are accessible for 12 months from the date of course commencement.
11. RECORDING AND PRIVACY
11.1 Educational content showing the presenter only may be recorded for future use.
11.2 Participant discussions and group sharing during educational sessions will be recorded for participant access.
11.3 Group coaching calls will not be recorded.
11.4 By enrolling, participants consent to this limited recording arrangement.
12. RESEARCH PARTICIPATION
12.1 By enrolling in the Program, participants consent to the use of their anonymised data (e.g., questionnaire responses, attendance, engagement metrics) for research purposes.
12.2 Participants agree to complete pre- and post-program questionnaires to support program evaluation and research.
12.3 All research data will be de-identified to protect confidentiality.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
13.1 All program content, materials, and recordings remain the intellectual property of Vanessa Kredler
13.2 Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use Program materials without written consent.
14. CONFIDENTIALITY
14.1 Participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared by other group members.
14.2 The facilitator cannot guarantee confidentiality of participant contributions in group settings.
15. PROGRAM COMPLETION
15.1 Completing the program does not confer professional qualifications.
16. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION
16.1 Vanessa Kredler reserves the right to terminate participation for breach of terms, disruptive behaviour, or other reasons deemed appropriate.
16.2 No refund will be given in cases of termination for cause.
17. GOVERNING LAW
17.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
17.2 Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
18. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT
By enrolling in the Food Sober Fundamentals Group Program, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
They confirm they understand the educational nature of the Program and accept full responsibility for their health and wellbeing during participation.
