Listen to my talk on joining peer communities, social activism and abstinence as tools for food addiction recovery.
In March 2023, I gave a talk at the Sweet Sobriety Open House about the importance of joining peer communities, about social activism and having a voice, and the tool of abstinence in recovery. You can watch the replay here. It was such a pleasure to speak about these topics because without being part of having a community, I couldn’t enjoy the level of recovery I have today. Community is everything.
